Ahead of Carl North’s support slot at Toria Wooff’s gig at the Whiskey Jar on Friday the 22nd of November. I thought we would shine another light on one of the very first Twisted Hand featured artists so I’ve decided to share my personal favourite tracks that Carl has released.

One of my absolute favourites of Carl’s work is ‘Thorn In Your Side’. It’s simply is an amazing song that you just have to sing along with.

“Following a successful Summer of festival appearances in 2017, including Glastonbury, the end of the year saw the release of their debut single ‘Worst of You’. This was accompanied by a smash sell-out, inaugural headline performance. Upon return from their debut UK tour in the Spring of 2018, Carl North & The Lonely Hearts released their latest single, ‘Blood to Bleed’. The exciting full-time addition of saxophonist Finola Daley-Dee shortly followed. Having been invited to perform at the Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival, the now six-piece were handpicked on their performance to represent Jessica Foxley Unsigned in the 5th UK Blues Challenge.”

Having amassed over 30,000 Spotify streams across just three single releases, the band settled up 2018 with a further two sold-out headline performances in their hometown. Picked as the top band emerging out of 2018 by Miro Magazine, Carl North & The Lonely Hearts plan to give something back for 2019, with a much anticipated release of work.

Make sure that you go and Check Carl North support Toria Wooff on Friday the 22nd of November at The Whiskey Jar for what will be an amazing night.
